Dati, nahilig rin ako sa mga sugal, bagaman hindi ko ito itinuturing na bisyo. Naglilibang lang ika nga. At marami akong alam na sugal – mahjong, sakla, lucky nine, tong-its, forty-one, pusoy lei, pusoy dos, pekwa, karera, at kahit ano pang sugal na kadalasan makikita mo sa peryahan.

Sa kabila nito, hindi ako natuto ng mga sugal na karaniwang makikita sa mga casino sa Las Vegas. Hindi ko kailanman hinangad na mapunta roon para magsugal. Maaari pa siguro para sa isang bakasyon o kaya naman ay para mamasyal at matunghayan ang ganda ng lugar na iyon.

Mabalik tayo sa sugal, nabanggit ko na hindi ko talaga ugali ang magsugal, at mas lalo pa ngayon. The show is about the lives of elite young adults living and growing up on New York’s Upper East Side. They are all studying in best academic institutions while dealing with different good and bad vices such as sex, drugs, and your basic fun, dramatic, dangerous teenage issues.

This television show is very powerful, it did change the fashion statement of the young adults. It is very evident that as you go walking along the streets, most of the teenagers are wearing clothes inspired by the main cast of the show. Some of the vices shown in the show are also absorbed by the viewers such sex and drugs but behind such bad influences I will admit that the story of the show is well written.

Most of the viewers could actually relate to it, talking about human relationship as family and friends. It is very realistic and very timely. It somehow serves as an eye-opener to all people who are afraid to face reality.

We should always look at the positive side of life. Always Remember:
