Galing kay Jolina
In fairness kay Kuya Neil, never siyang humingi ng testi.
Kasi ang mga bagay na hinihingi nito laging para sa ibang tao.
Naks! Ang selfless naman!
Oh well. Ganyan talaga si Kuya Neil e. Walang sarili. Haha!
I honestly was afraid of Kuya Neil the first time I met him. I guess it didn’t help that in my mind he was this alumnus/mentor/mang-ookray who promises to make my training days a living hell. And yes, he lived up to that promise! Haha.
Fears, apprehensions and intimidation aside, I learned a lot from Kuya Neil. He made me tougher than I ever thought I could be. I certainly came a looooong way from that girl na tatahimik tahimik lang sa tabi—largely because of his pieces of advice, shared strategies, and timeless wisdom.
A man of faith, he has always made me believe in life especially during those times when I feel like life doesn’t believe in me anymore.
Magically, he made me not give up hope in my moments of despair (yes, momentSSS, as in more than 1. huhu!) even when I stubbornly held on to my pessimistic side. I am forever amazed at how the glass is never half empty to him.
At siyempre, ang talagang ikinagagalak ng puso ko, ang pagtangkilik niya sa aking mga corny jokes! Salamat kuya neil!
A person with admirable strength, courage, wisdom, faith and love (yiheeeeee), he is one of the treasures I am eternally grateful to God for.
All the best for you and Ate Janielle!
